And we’re back! After our summer break, it’s time for some re-introductions and a catch-up with everything we’ve been up to over the last couple of months. We chat about holidays, writing, books and a whole lot more.
We also introduce a new segment, which we’ll be doing every few months, in which one of our hosts blind-reads a piece of (probably) terrible writing picked by the rest of the team. First up is Nienna, getting the dubious honour of reading the first few chapters of the infamous fan-fic My Immortal.
Warning: My Immortal isn’t suitable for children, anyone of a sensitive disposition, or anyone with the slightest taste in literature. This is one you’ll probably want to stick to headphones for, though we apologise if Nienna deafens anyone towards the end (you’ll soon find out why)!
If you dare to find out more, the rest of My Immortal can be found here.
And the silkies, mentioned in the episode, are here.
As usual, all our Twitter links and personal emails can be found at the About page. If you want to get in touch about the podcast as a whole (and maybe even recommend some heinous fiction we can read in the future!), find us on Twitter @wahpodcast, or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
